The quarantine zone
Online: 404 Map: The Leminsgale District
The whole game plays out inside a sealed district of roughly 4 km²: a town, forest, lakes, wetlands and hills, ringed by an electrified fence. Here is what's known about the layout before launch.
Post-launch: this guide will be fully updated within 48 hours of the Early Access release (Oct 16, 2026) with a full annotated map. No official map image or location list has been published for the release build — district details below come from official descriptions and the June 2026 demo.

The setting
The Leminsgale District was sealed off years before the game starts — quarantined after an industrial accident at the town's gummy factory, and never fully evacuated. The people who stayed behind lost their minds and have wandered the area ever since. The perimeter fence is electrified; the checkpoint exits stand empty. You get in through a smuggler's tunnel, and it collapses behind you.
The world outside the fence carries on normally — which is the in-fiction reason your phone's internet still works inside the zone.
Confirmed geography
| Feature | Status |
|---|---|
| Size | Roughly 4 km² (about 2.5 x 1.6 km), per developer statements |
| Town | Sunny Lakes — known nationally for its gummy factory |
| Factory | The Sunny Bites gummy factory, site of the accident |
| Motel | A motel near the starting area — the first supply objective |
| Terrain | Forest, lakes, wetlands and hills, with a river and bridges |
| Wildlife | Rabbits, chickens, wolves and other huntable/avoidable animals |
| Roads | Drivable once you restore a vehicle |
Demo-era locations (June 2026 build): the St. Bunny Motel, the Sunny Bites factory area, an abandoned camp past the bridge, a sheriff's car across the bridge, a grandma's house with a trade quest, and upstairs apartments with lockpicks. Names and layouts may change for Early Access.

Getting around
- On foot is the default — and the district is small enough to learn but big enough to get caught out at night. The phone's map is your navigation tool from minute one.
- Vehicles are the progression milestone: restore an old car (research the repair online, scavenge the parts) and district-wide trips become routine. Cars are found parked around roads and lots; even wrecks donate parts.
- Weather matters — the phone's forecast exists so you can time long expeditions.

Exploration priorities
- Learn the area around your start before pushing deep — resources near spawn feed your first shelter.
- Mark mentally: motel (food/tools), vehicles (parts/lockpicks), campsites (power banks).
- Wolves near the river and bridge areas punished under-equipped demo players — carry a real weapon before crossing open ground.
- The phone map plus a working car is the late-early-game combo that unlocks the whole district.
What we don't know yet (TBA)
- The full release-build location list and named points of interest
- Whether the map expands with the "new locations" planned during Early Access (confirmed as a plan, unconfirmed in scale)
- Fast travel, if any
- Underground or interior-only areas beyond what's been shown
